| I've been working on The Firm List since 1998. The site has always* been free and I have all intentions of keeping it that way. I've now created premium content/features that requires paying an upgrade fee, but listings on the site and use of most features is still free. Many people have wondered what they could do to give back to The Firm List. In response to these questions, I have created this section which gives you various options for giving back to the community as a whole and perhaps even a little something for the crazy guy who built this site. |
| I'm not looking for you to give me money. As you'll see, giving something back ranges from helping me find new media resources to helping keep the resource up-to-date. For those who wish to contribute money instead of effort, there are options for contributing to the marketing of The Firm List or for helping pay for the upkeep & hosting of this site. |
| If nothing else, I'd appreciate an email letting me know you like the site. Feel free to share any problems you have as well as suggestions for making it better. |

| * I did charge a US Listing fee for about 1-1/2 months. I ended that fee and returned the fees paid in the form of advertising and upgraded listings to all firm who joined during that period. |

| Weed out the listings in your area |
| I am continually going through existing listings and removing firms that no longer exist or moving them to their new locations If you have a moment, take a look through your local listings for any dead links. Send the firm name as well as the city/town they are listed in to: matte@firmlist.com. |
| Metro Area volunteers |
| To help people find firms in cities/towns surrounding major cities, I have started metro area listings, which gives people easy access to nearby towns/cities. It's difficult for me to keep all that geography straight, so any help in determing the cities/towns in a metro area is appreciated. | Regional information |
