Behind The Firm List Blog
Negative Feedback
Actual user feedback about the site:
I think your site needs some serious work. This is one of the worst sites I think I have ever been to,
If you're going to have it on the web and available to people as reference then at least make it worth the
visit. I was highly disappointed at the poor quality of this site. Better Luck next time, but if you're
going to make another site like this, quit now before there is a next time.
Yes, I know that out of hundreds of emails I get about The Firm List, more than 99% of them are positive.
I know I should just brush off the 1% that aren't. But it's not always that easy.
Even if it just stings for a moment, it stings.
I welcome all feedback, I do. And I believe even with positive feedback, it doesn't do all that much to
help if you just say it's great or whatever. Specifics on why it's good, how it helped you, etc. make
it possible for me to guage what I am doing right.
And in the case of the negative feedback, actually bringing some examples or details to the discussion
allows me to know what I am doing wrong. And perhaps you'd suggest how it could be better, specifically
what was missing or could have been done a different way to make it a better experience.
At least this time the person gave an email, so I will try and follow up and perhaps get some of that
constructive criticism that might help me improve the site. I know it's not perfect.
