		Behind The Firm List Blog Improved PR Made some changes to the PR section of The Firm List. They've been in my mind for a while now, but finally got around to doing them. Why they happened now is that a really involved firm submitted quite a batch of press releases all at once and that had me thinking... The way I was handling the press releases in the past was to list them based upon the day when I added them to the site rather than the date of the press release. I am not sure why I took this approach at first, but it stuck for several years. Well, that worked fine for the most part, but the trend is for firms to send me a couple months worth of press releases at one time, and so I would have a flood of press releases covering a stretch of time, yet on my site they would all be marked the same day. So I have gone through all the years of press releases on the site and moved all of the press releases to correspond with the actual date of the press release. I made sure to set it up so that anyone having bookmarks to the old set-up will still find the press release. In addition to that change, I have made it a little easier to get around in the PR section. Now when you're viewing a particular press release, you can see below it a list of the 3 most current press releases by that firm. That way, should you happen to find a link to an older press release somewhere on the net, that you can then easily get to the most current news from that firm. Just minor changes, all a part of a continual improvement of the entire site.
